MACRON ACCUSED RUSSIA OF INTERFERING IN THE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN GEORGIA
The President of France openly expressed what every Georgian thinks. The bloody pro-Russian regime that falsified the parliamentary elections follows the Kremlin's orders. Only by overthrowing the Russian puppets led by Ivanishvili can Georgia once again become an independent country.
On January 6, during the annual meeting of French ambassadors, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about Russia's aggressive policy toward Georgia and other post-Soviet countries, citing the destabilization of Georgia's October parliamentary elections as an example.
"In recent years, Russia has increased its aggression against Europe and other parts of the world. We see this in Armenia—where Russia suddenly became an ally of Azerbaijan simply because Armenians resisted it. We see this in Georgia—through the destabilization of the electoral process," Macron stated.
France's ambassador to Georgia, Sheraz Gasri, emphasized in a post that Macron advocates for new parliamentary elections in Georgia:
"Emmanuel Macron highlights the support for fighters for democracy and freedom as a priority of our foreign policy. He values the courage of demonstrators and Salome Zourabichvili in Georgia and underscores that new elections could be a solution to the political crisis."
Macron was also supported by U.S. Republican Congressman Joe Wilson.
"I am grateful that Emmanuel Macron supported the call of the Georgian people and Salome Zourabichvili for free and fair elections in Georgia. I look forward to Zourabichvili working with Donald Trump to bring these plans to life!" Wilson said.
In response, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated, "If Russia interferes anywhere, when it comes to neighboring countries, it interferes in Ukraine. The President of France should look at devastated Ukraine." Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili called for new elections in France due to distrust in Macron.
