RUSSIA IS SO AFRAID OF WESTERN COUNTRIES HELPING THE GEORGIAN OPPOSITION THAT IT CALLS ECO-ACTIVIST GRETA THUNBERG'S PARTICIPATION IN RALLIES "INTERFERENCE IN THE ELECTIONS"
The freedom-loving Georgian people have proven that they will not tolerate stolen elections and have once again taken to protest. The curators of Ivanishvili’s pro-Russian regime, who sit in the Kremlin, are so afraid of the rallies that they even called the visit of the famous eco-activist Greta Thunberg “Western interference in Georgia’s affairs.”
The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, stated that the presence of Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg at anti-government protests in Georgia indicates Western influence. Zakharova’s words were quoted by "Echo of the Caucasus."

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson commented on Greta Thunberg’s participation in the opposition rally in Georgia, claiming that the West “has exposed its interference in Georgia’s affairs.”
“It would indeed be laughable if it weren’t so tragic, how the West has exposed itself with its obsessive involvement in the situation surrounding the sovereign and independent state of Georgia,” Zakharova stated.
In her opinion, the West perceives a threat in Georgia’s move toward protecting its sovereignty and opposes democratic processes in the country.
Greta Thunberg expressed her support for Georgian opposition members, who believe that the results of the parliamentary elections on October 26 were rigged, and she participated in a rally earlier this week.
It is known that international observers reported widespread fraud in the parliamentary elections. Companies conducting exit polls for the opposition raised doubts about the credibility of the official election results. The Georgian opposition openly calls the elections stolen and falsified.
