PRO-RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT THREATENS GEORGIAN PRESIDENT WITH PRISON!
The bloody dictator Ivanishvili, who effectively controls the country, continues to order crackdowns on protests and imprisonment of opposition figures. This time, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has been threatened with incarceration if she refuses to step down from her post. In response, Zourabichvili gave the government a week to announce new parliamentary elections. The brutal pro-Russian regime will not stop until it imprisons all opposition leaders, including the president. Everyone to the protests! Together, we can free Georgia from Russian puppets!
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze declared that President Salome Zourabichvili must vacate her position after her term ends and threatened her with imprisonment should she refuse. Kobakhidze stated that Zourabichvili has "less than a week" remaining as Georgia's president and advised her to avoid meetings with the opposition or announcing new parliamentary elections.
"Some European politicians and officials believe much could happen before December 29 [the end of the president's term—Ed.], but I am confident that nothing significant will change," the prime minister asserted.
Additionally, Kobakhidze warned that non-compliance could result in Zourabichvili being jailed.
"Let’s see where she ends up—in prison or free. I think she has plenty of reasons to comply with the Criminal Code," he concluded.
In response, Salome Zourabichvili, speaking at a protest rally in Tbilisi, announced that she is giving the government one week to schedule new parliamentary elections.
"I remain faithful to the country and the constitution to which I swore an oath six years ago. This constitution has been trampled upon but endured, just as Georgia endures. I can only continue and remain loyal to it," Zourabichvili stated on Sunday, December 22, at a rally held in the Christmas Village on Orbeliani Square, near the presidential residence.
