THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF GEORGIA REFUSED TO EVEN CONSIDER LAWSUITS TO ANNUL THE ELECTION RESULTS!
President Salome Zourabichvili and opposition deputies filed lawsuits seeking to invalidate the results of the parliamentary elections. Hundreds of international observers documented widespread violations, and the European Parliament refused to recognize the election results. However, the Constitutional Court, controlled by the pro-Russian government, declined even to review these appeals. Shame on Ivanishvili's regime!
On November 19, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili filed a lawsuit challenging the election results with the Constitutional Court. She argued that the principle of voting secrecy had been violated during the elections and proposed declaring the results unconstitutional. Additionally, she highlighted the violation of universal suffrage due to restrictions on emigrants' ability to participate in the elections. On December 1, Zourabichvili called on protesters in the city of Batumi to "put pressure on the court."
The Constitutional Court of Georgia refused to consider the lawsuits from President Salome Zourabichvili and opposition deputies seeking to invalidate the results of the October 26 parliamentary elections.
“The decision is final and cannot be appealed or revised,” the court announced.
It is worth noting that the Tetritskaro Court declared the results of 30 polling stations in Tetritskaro and Tsalkha, where electronic voting was used, invalid. During an experimental demonstration in the courtroom, plaintiffs showed that the mark made on a ballot was visible when passed through the machine’s envelope frame. This allowed a nearby individual to see who the vote was cast for. After conducting the investigative experiment, Tetritskaro Court Judge Vladimir Khuchua ruled that the secrecy of voting was "definitely" not upheld. An honest judge acknowledged what every Georgian had seen. However, Georgia's Central Election Commission appealed this decision, and the Appeals Court overturned it.
