The exit poll conducted by the global market research and data collection company HarrisX revealed discrepancies in the voting results. The opposition announced a protest on November 4, disagreeing with the official voting results of the parliamentary elections.

“We will meet on Monday at 7:00 PM on Rustaveli Avenue and there we will outline our action plan in detail. According to the law, legitimately, peacefully, but in an organized manner, our protest will continue,” said Anna Dolidze, one of the leaders of the opposition party Strong Georgia.

The exit poll was conducted by the global market research and data collection company HarrisX. On October 31, the company stated that its analysis revealed “statistically unexplained discrepancies” in the results presented by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia.

“The final report by HarrisX concludes that the official election result from the CEC, which states that the Georgian Dream party received 53.96%, is statistically impossible,” the statement said.

According to HarrisX, these discrepancies amount to more than eight percent of the total votes, or at least 172,523 unprocessed votes across 27 districts.
