Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is currently imprisoned, claimed that the opposition \"convincingly\" won\u00a0the parliamentary elections,<\/a>which were \"completely rigged.\" He called for protests,\u00a0as stated<\/a>\u00a0in Saakashvili\u2019s message on Facebook on Sunday, October 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"These elections have been stolen from the Georgian people, so we must engage in continuous demonstrations and civil disobedience,\" Saakashvili declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that a unified opposition coordination center should be immediately established to protect the election results. Currently, no one should enter the parliament, Saakashvili emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
